It's kind of a puzzle game FPS called portal. It's from valve, the people who made halflife. Looks pretty good to me. I like solving interesting problems.

The games forum appears to be where people PLAY games. This forum is where people TALK about things - even games.

Could go either way - the Fun and Games section was opened because the games threads were pushing the discussion threads off the first page, so tofu is basically correct. I will leave it here for now unless there are multiple complaints.

Actually, that game looks like it has a lot of potential, and also makes me wonder just how much unforseen stuff you can do. I mean, in most games giving players the ability to jump lets them break it, but the chance to jump and teleport... I'm also really, really tempted to put one of those guard-bots into an infinite loop.

The video shows two examples. Looks like the game handles it ok. It's just constant movement (through a portal).

I really like the disembodied, vaguely female computer voice. Really gives you the impression that you're not just a test subject, you're a rat in a cage and nobody cares what happens to you. It reminded me a little of the movie hypercube

Hm. Interesting. The same sort of portal gimmick is used in the game Prey. Also a very good game, with a pretty good sci-fi plot.
