The size of these things are enormous! I seen them being transported down the highway. I'm sure the transport company has to find a route with very few turns.

Part of me thought this was either going to be a politician joke, or a chilli joke...

That's still pretty impressive, and there's a LOT of area to use that's pretty flat and uninterrupted.

Nonsense, wind energy is a very serious topic here in Texas.

Why, their even considering plans for wind trubines that would take advantage of such high potential events as the Texas Legislature being in session, or the Terlingua Chili Cookoff.

I happened to be in West Texas this past weekend and noticed a whole bunch of wind turbines.

So they've got most of the oil AND most of the windpower. What's next, are the going to pave over the whole state with solar panels?
