Click on the red and white triangle thing on the top right of the spam post and report the post. And yes, you shouldn't post in a spam thread as that just keeps bumping it back up.

Not to mention that there seems to be an occasional glitch in the Spam Decimator software that causes any posters in the thread to be banned along with the spammer.

That's ok, they might be the same people who would go there, found out it was spam, and get a virus...we don't want that now do we?

Well, for a while there people were adding a "Reported" post to the spam thread, which was nice because it meant that we only got one spam report instead of 3 or 4. But since Frog march got accidentally banned because of doing that, we no longer recommend that approach.
