From the old days of BABB
ole!
What you have to do is post before a person at just after at or just after an agreed specified time and say "Bang"(Or something similer), the winner then gets to be chalanged by another person.
To chalange a person you say "I challange you to a duel *slap*"(Or something similer)
You can talk right up until the time to try to intimidate the other person...

Well, I still don't get it anyway.
*Loads "Ultra Low Velocity" (yet extremely powerful) round into revolver*
*Points revolver in the direction Mickal will next appear*
*BANG*

Well, I still don't get it anyway. If I recall, the idea is that Mickel would challenge you to a duel at, for instance, 2:37 AM GMT. Whoever posts first (preferrably saying "Bang") after 2:37 wins. It's easy to see who wins by looking at the post times.
The trick is to time your posts correctly. And obviously both duelers need to accound for their timezone -- otherwise one or both would miss the duel.

And don't forget to account for the board's emergency temporal shift :)
