Don't get this product. I made the big mistake and regret it. What terrible resolution...Even the moon comes in poorly. Using 35mm eyepieces still wound up with too much magnification since you have to use the shorty barlow with it. Anyone have any luck with it?

Achieving focus with a reflector or short-focal length refractor, however, may require use of a short 2x barlow lens such as the Orion Shorty or Shorty-Plus in front of the Binocular Viewer, due to its requirement for 4" of additional inward focus travel.
I assume that:
1) You have either a reflector or short-focal length refractor.
and
2) You didn't bother to read this before you ordered the product.

An image does appear but does not have near the resolution that a single 25mm Meade superwide plus the shorty plus barlow achieves. Don't get me wrong, I can achieve an image clear enough to make out detail, craters on the moon and gases on Jupiter, but no where near what I expected.

My 20 X 80mm Oberwerk binoculars get images that bury it in comparison and my EXT90 is superior as well..The scope I was using it on is my XT12.

I was under the impression that using a set of 35 mm eyepieces would be able to reduce mag enough but it doesn't. I have seen other binoviewers in Sky and Telescope that retail at $900 and that gave me the hint that I only get what I pay for. Someone at a nearby college has one that cost him about $600 3 years ago and resolution through his was great.
