Two retired physicists who helped pioneer the field of fiber optics have a web site at http://steady-cosmos.squarespace.com/ where "ORIGINS" can be downloaded. The article seriously questions the Big Bang theory and offers a reasonable alternative. Read it and see what you think.

Hi Steady_Eddy, welcome to the BAUT forum.

I have moved this thread to the ATM section of the forum. If you care to defend the conclusions of these two retired physicists, please do. If not, than this will be regarded as a hit and run advertisement.

It doesn't really help your case that the website you've linked to is far from complete.

For everyone else, there is at least one good link in the site to the Origins paper which babbles a bit, but ultimately DOES GIVE some OOM NUMBERS supporting their steady state claims.

The actual article can be downloaded from this page:

Moved to ATM.

Their idea is based on the following assumption (from the paper): "Assume that the red shift is exponential decay and use the published data to provide the attenuation constant." Among other problems, this observation (http://arxiv.org/abs/astro-ph/0402512) directly contradicts these two engineers' theory. Sorry.
