This is a MULTIPLE CHOICE POLL.

Please select what you think are good series. I, myself, have not seen all of these series. I may well select some on the basis of reputation or premise. If you wish to make comments about these specific shows, they are welcome to those who may not have seen those shows.

Yes, Star Cops! I wish it had gone longer. About the only decent TV science fiction mystery series I can think of, and science fiction mystery is very hard to pull off. Quite realistic near term extrapolation of space operations too.

I've heard people say good things about Hex, but haven't had a chance to see it yet.

I've only seen Outer Limits and V. V is certainly not the greatest sci-fi series, but it was an interesting premise. You're not quite sure just how benign these aliens are supposed to be. Earth: Final Conflict did the premise better--at least for the first season.

Outer Limits was consistently downbeat and boring. You know every episode is going to end on an ugly surprise. Their efforts to tie all of the episodes together in a clip show season finale was even worse. No, it did not get my vote.

Yes, I hated the new Outer Limits series and for exactly the same reason. I suspected the writer or writers were suffering from clinical depression. A sad ending here and there is fine, but this was ridiculous.

Earth: Final Conflict had promise. It started out a lot like B5 - lots of subtle hints in a developing story with an interesting premise. Too bad they ruined it.

V - well, I have a problem with aliens that come to earth just for water, and have such advanced technology but can't seem to keep primitive humans down. The story just didn't hold together for me.

I've not seen Captain Scarlet.

I voted for V - Always had a soft spot for that. I dont know what happened to Outer Limits. A few of the stories where based on great short stories - But just failed to translate onto the screen somehow

Seen one of the New Capt Scarlet. I enjoyed it - but the CGI just seemed to lack the charm of the original series. No special reason - It just did

I voted for V, though the miniseries was very good and the series didn't live up to that.
