This is a MULTIPLE CHOICE POLL.
Please select what you think are good series. I, myself, have not seen all of these series. I may well select some on the basis of reputation or premise. If you wish to make comments about these specific shows, they are welcome to those who may not have seen those shows.

Stargate for the humour. I would like to see The Champions again, I was very young and easy pleased when it was around. Would be interesting to see what time has done to the show (And my tastes lol)

If I'm going to admit to having liked Out of This World (if it is what I think it is), I ought to at least acknowledge that I don't dislike SG-1.

Highlander was interesting enough for me to watch every so often. It won't make my 'best of' too often, though.
Out of this World was about a teenage girls with alien powers who talked to her father through a cube. I have seen the occasional episode and have never had an interest in watching it consistently.
SG-1 started off rather cliche, but it managed to keep my interest. I find their galactic politics rather simplistic. I have watched on a consistent basis since its first season.
The Champions I really haven't seen, but the premise sounds interesting. VttBotS doesn't sound interesting, really. I've never seen it.

Stargate SG-1 definitely. Highlander was an interesting series, so I picked it, but it isn't one of my favorites. No, on Voyage (okay, I watched it as a kid, but I thought it was silly before I was out of grade school). Vague memories of OOTW (eh). I googled Champions and the theme song sounds very familiar, but I can't say I remember it. I suspect I might have seen some episodes when I was young.

The Out of this World I mentioned was a series
of dramatisations of SF stories on British
television in 1962. It is possible they were
filmed and sold overseas but still before
Gillianrens time I am sure (he said gallantly:))
I also vote The Champions..Miss Alexandra was
worth watching...

Interesting. I wasn't familiar with the '62 series. Here is (a very small) bit from IMDB on the '62 series:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0163475/
and the '87 series:

As a very small child, I loved Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea. I believe it is my first memory of television.

What was the premise of the '62 series?

Stargate SG-1 never impressed me. Not long after the Stargate movie, there was a short series of novels that continued the series through in a VERY different direction, one I thought was superior to the TV series. Unfortunately, it seems the popularity of the TV series killed the separate book line, and my interest in that storyline nosedived towards oblivion.
The series is basically ST:TNG in a cave. Planet of the week mixed with cheeseball alien politics.
