This is a MULTIPLE CHOICE POLL.

Please select what you think are good series. I, myself, have not seen all of these series. I may well select some on the basis of reputation or premise. If you wish to make comments about these specific shows, they are welcome to those who may not have seen those shows.

Note the name change of the poll to more accurately reflect the intent. I'm not sure Planetes qualifies because the original language was in Japanese. However, I would assume that there exists an English dub, so I'll include it. There was an Invaders show in 1995, but in only lasted three episodes. The rules require six installments.

There are five polls left. Voting should get interesting starting tomorrow.

This is a purely 'Quinn Martin production' choice for me :D

The only one I saw or have seen is Wonder Woman. When I was in high school.

I've seen them all. In fairness, I mentioned Planettes before I noticed the original language rule. It's anime, and the DVD has an english voice track. It is an excellent near future "life in space" story. I have some issues with it, but technically it isn't bad and they did a fantastic job of capturing the mindset of people who want to go into space. It is apparently pretty popular at NASA.

Starlost had some great ideas, but horrible execution. There's a long story to that, but I won't get into it here.

There were times when The Invaders threatened to almost become science fiction, but it never quite got there.

I didn't think much of the stories for Dark Angel or Wonder Woman, though I didn't mind seeing Jessica Alba.

Every time someone on that show appears to be trying to act, my roommate and I say, "Cookie!" (This is based on a greyhound of my acquaintance. I don't believe he can hold "run" and "cookie" as thoughts in his head at the same time, so if you offered him a cookie while he's running, he'd fall over, or at least, that's my belief. Same with the cast of Dark Angel and "act and "cookie.")

Dark Angel started out with a great premise and real promise. Unfortunately, it didn't get the ratings the network suits wanted, so it jumped the shark and brought in Joshua, et al.

Still, it had some good episodes.

(BTW, it's being shown Mondays on SciFi Channel.)
