I bought a pair of Plossl lens and and one .965 to 1.25in adapter, but now focusing is not good, eyepieces cannot deep sufficiently for proper focus, can I solve this????

Moderator: I suggest movement to Astronomical Observing, Equipment and Accessories (http://www.bautforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=52) where poster has a better chance of catching a sympathetic eye.
DS-114: I can't help you -- except maybe to get your topic moved to a better place.
But, welcome to the BAUT Forum.

Good work. Replies should go in this thread: Meade DS-114 (http://www.bautforum.com/showthread.php?t=47446)
This thread can probably be locked by a moderator.

I bought a pair of Plossl lens and and one .965 to 1.25in adapter, but now focusing is not good, eyepieces cannot deep sufficiently for proper focus, can I solve this????If I understand what you're getting at, the eyepiece holder is at its maximum inward travel and still can't achieve focus.
Since this appears to be a Newtonian one can always use the mirror adjustment screws to move the mirror closer to the other end of the tube, effectively moving the focus farther out at the eyepiece holder. In an extreme case with a Newtonian, new mirror mount holes would have the same effect in a permanent fashion and allow for a more extreme change re the location of the focus at the eyepiece mount. That would probably void the warranty if still in effect. Plus if too close some of the light from the primary will miss the diagonal and result in darker images.
If it's a closed, non-adjustable system, you're essentially out of luck re your adapter setup. I'd advise you to go with 1.25 Plössl eyepieces of the focal lengths you want. This should solve the problem with the range of focus.

I am assuming that the DS-114 came with 0.965" eyepieces and focuser and you want to use better quality 1.25" Plossls (not t'other way round).
Why don't you change the focuser? The newer DS-114s come with a 1.25" rack-and-pinion focuser, so it must be possible. This would mean that you could get closer to the focal plane as there is no extra adapter. The other good bit about a new focuser is that you could get a metal one - more robust than the plastic meade ones.
