This is a MULTIPLE CHOICE POLL.

Please select what you think are good series. I, myself, have not seen all of these series. I may well select some on the basis of reputation or premise. If you wish to make comments about these specific shows, they are welcome to those who may not have seen those shows.

edit: This is what I get for not checking IMDb before posting a poll.

Quartermas refers to The Quartermass Experiment from 1953. Quartermass II was another serial that came out in 1955. If the mods would be so kind, please change the third choice to "The Quartermass Experiment (1953 and 1955)".

While the moderator is at it, also amend Superman to be "Adventures of Superman (1952 series)".

Thank you

Well, Doctor Who, of course. And I voted for Quatermass (note spelling) just on general principles.

Quatermass & the Dr. for me, no surprise! :)

Might as well be loyal to Dr Who though I gave up
watching years ago. It was that opening episode
in 1963 that grabbed peoples attention. A box
in a scrapyard, all dark and gloomy, but inside
much bigger with hidden lighting from the walls
and a weird control consol. It was shown on a
Saturday evening but many missed it being down
the pub discussing the terrible event in Dallas.
So the BBC repeated it during the week. Great
theme tune of course. And the film Quatermass
and the Pit needs to be seen. That is
frightening at the end. Well it was but I am
sure it still is!
