I've seen it- nice to see them together again...even if only a commercial

Having watched it, I can only say "ugh".

Those commercials are pretty well done. Anybody who watches Boston Legal is aware that Shatner's not nearly that thin anymore - I'm thinking there's some pretty sophisticated digital trickery going on there.

Shatner plays himself in a series of Breakfast cerial ads in the UK. They are quite funny

Same in Canada, about fiber in your diet or something... and another about being stinking rich ( a car commercial I think)

Not just anywhere.
The scenes are all from 'Star Trek VI'.

I've see the commercial twice, and while I think the premise is cute, one thing bothers me. The opening shot seems to show the Enterprise and Klingon ship flying in formation. The Klingon ship does not appear to be threatening the Enerprise, yet Chekov asks if he should raise the shields.

Couldn't they have found a a better opening scene?

Well, it plays out that same way in the actual movie; the ship is not threatening, but Chekvo recommends shields anyway.
Kirk's reply was "Never been this close."

In that case, I retract my statement. I guess it was even more of an inside joke than I appreciated.
