The long filament that was approaching the leading solar limb a couple of days ago has crossed over to the far side but it left a fine going away present - another large prominence, which coincidentally resembled the one that was on the opposite limb the other day. Observations were made with a Coronado PST and an 8-24mm Vixen zoom eyepiece late Thursday morning.
