Laptop internet access in Australia

G'day to all my fellow Aussie BAUTers.

I've recently bought a laptop (with internal modem), and would like to get Internet access.

What would people recommend as a system, and who'd you recommend as a provider.

I live in Canberra, and would like to be able to log in at a variety of locations in various cities.

Any relevant help or advice would be appreciated.

I'm with internode and I love them. They provide free broadband wireless access to members at Adelaide Airport, and maybe others too?

My girlfriend has a laptop but she hasn't gone for any of the "roaming" style internet access due to the price. She uses a wireless router for internet access around the house, and has found that she does get connected in certain other locations (probably dropping in on unsecured connections).

I think that Unwired is pretty popular, but I don't know if they have expanded further than Sydney at this stage.
