Talking about Google offerings in Maksutov's thread got me to wondering - has anyone tried the Google Accelerator in the Google Labs? I've toyed with accelerators before, but they were really just clever cache managers, and wreaked havoc with forums, in particular, because they don't refresh correctly, and you end up missing alot of posts.

So, any opinions of Google Accelerator? Good, bad, or meh?

I would rather have my web be slower by 0.003s than it working properly.

 Are you missing the word "not" in there? As in "not working properly".

I tried out Google Web Accelerator while I was using Firefox 1.5. After two weeks I had saved 40min. of internet loading time. Pathetic. I have Road Runner digital cable and internet, I already have things as fast as they can be.

And it's not even compatible with Firefox 2.0.
