Let's see if we can get more than 60% correct.

No, .002 dollars is two tenths of a cent; .002 cents is two thousandths of a cent.

If it's not 99%, we are all in gave trouble.

Well, that all depends. If some people thought the two were the same, I'd say those people might be willing to enter into a cleverly structured transaction that would be quite profitable for the other party. Don't you think so?

Yes, and I am very disappointed that no one has voted yes. Are there no independent thinkers here?

independent thinkers

The two are different - it's elementary math...

(glad to see that we're at 100% correct so far...)

I suppose you will claim that one is one hundred times larger than the other, or something equally outlandish. . .

(glad to see that we're at 100% correct so far...)

I regret to inform you that the answers are not 100 percent correct, but 10,000 perdollar correct.

I suspect that anyone not saying that they are different are just voting that way to spark controversy at this point.:shifty:

(at least that's what I keep telling myself)

If someone votes yes, we'll have a poll regarding that person's intentions.

Hmm...

It would certainly appear that way to me..(outlandish indeed  :wall: )

It depends what your definition of 'is' is...

 Slightly is not equal to 100 times greater. Therefore the correct answer is to leave this topic as quickly as possible and never enter it again. So that is what I will do.;)

Apparently nobody on this board works for Verizon customer support.

What this really shows is that we need to bring back the cents symbol.

At carboot sales, I often see signs "0.10 cents/piece" (well, at least those people who dare to ask less than 1€ for anything...)

I always have to bite my lip in order not to ask "can we go for 1200 of those for 1€?"

(the first one who says "well, 10 cents still would be a fair price for a car's boot" will be banned ;) :D )
