Just postin to say hi, and say this forum is a good tool for beginners!!! Its helped me alot already.... I live in Michigan about 10 mins south of Detroit... Ive got a Orion Astroview 120ST and it is my 1st telescope so far.. Just wondering if anyone else has used this scope and if you have, how u like it.. I am very pleased with it so far but their are alot of artificial lights around so seeing conditions could be better.. Im saving up for the Skyglow filter to help out.. Hope its worth the money!! Anyways im sure youll be seeing more of me on here. Later

Welcome aboard, Star_Scream - it's always great to see our new members. As Treb was pointing out, we have a very active forum devoted to astronomic equipment and their use (http://www.bautforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=52). When you have a few spare minutes, you should also take some time to read The Rules (http://www.bautforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=52). Most everyone is pretty laid back here - but there is some important information there that will help you get a feel for what's out-of-bounds here.
Again - welcome!
