26th of Janurary is the Day all Aussies try to remember the usually forgotten poineers of european settlement and then undo it with lots of BBQ and beer.

But all in all it a day we try to remember the values we care most about in this country and the main one is "A fair go for all".

So hopefully you will raise a beer with us today and wish us well on our day of days.

All other countries are run by little girls!

PlanetHollyWood, any reason to get together for BBQ and beer is a good one. If you had given me a 3 month's heads up I would have swam over and joined you.. Heck I would have brought the ale. (There's just something about the way grilled beef and ale sits in ones stomach...)
