and I'm going to ask you all an engaging question that makes you think I'm not really a spammer, then one of my friends is going to reply with all the links that I spam for.
My other forum has had this regarding the discovery of a pregnancy, and now a poll on ages.
Very friendly, but finally SPAM.
Thought you should know, spread the word.
PS, I'm not a spammer, it's a warning to other users.. but if I don't make that clear, then I may lose my access to this forum, which I enjoy - thank-you-very-much.

and I'm going to ask you all an engaging question [...]
Not very clear. After effort, I presume you are sort of pretending to mimic some spammish behavior you've seen on another forum as a warning of what we might see. Is that it?
(Might I suggest your future writing take the hackneyed approach: 1) tell your audience what you're going to tell them; 2) tell them; 3) tell them what you told them. Your jumping right in with simulated spam-speak, title and first words -- but confusingly unsubtle -- was hard for me to comprehend because the set-up was missing.)
So, I suspect that approach won't work here because new posters who offer up articles containing URLs, get their efforts suspended for inspection by human eyeballs. But, the initial (fake) poll or question might appear, because it doesn't contain URLs. However, it won't injure our eyes with damaging spam-rays, either.
Message received. OK. We are now alerted and on vigilant look-out for fake topics. I'm not sure how we will tell them from real ones, though, if the actual followup spam warhead gets intercepted.
Thanks, for the warning though. It's always unpleasantly fun to learn of spam tactics.
