One of my friend told me that he has never seen before such a huge discussion on space and astronomy at a glance, before that he was only know that there are a small discussion windows through which people just do the discussion like a one line chating, once upon a time I have shown him this site on the screen, he replied, Oh God, wow, marvelous, very nice.

He also said that if someone read this site he will be fully ackonowledge about the space and astronomy related content at just in one seating. :)

I have also shown him the nice photos inserted in the astrophotography on which he replied, "exceptional, beautiful, most descent, quite good look.

Then I replied him: that's why I wrote here some lines.

Are you sure it was chance? Or is it possible that there are strange and yet to be understood powers at work that focus people's subconcious attention to this site?

Unless your were actually referred by a friend named Chance; in which case it was just a matter of Chance.

Actually I tend to disagree.

After diving into a great deal of threads here, from a lurker POV, I sense quite a nastiness, a kind of pompous "smarminess", amongst a great deal of folk here.

Emotional hysterics seem to erupt left, right & center!

It's NOT how I'm used to civilised people behaving.

There's a few "regulars", though, who I must say seem to avoid the childish "flaming" and stick to answering the question. With intelligence to wit!

Anyway, I just had to say this.

This forum, to me, seems quite a horrible place! Full of nasty petulent children! I remember a "Universe Today" forum that was, in stark contrast, quite a warm forgiving environment...

oh well...

Oh, you didn't mean me... Sorry.

I like Baut a lot, for many different reasons, but mainly the people. Like most groups of people, there are variations, but most are nice and decent, once you get to know them a bit, so I respectfully disagree with the rest of your post.

my friend further stated that the avtars used here are the state of the art and presented with a very fine style, which he never seen before. :)

On tomorrow also he is just making another good statements, I am continuously hearing his statements, he is a nice speaker on the things. Yesterday he said that technically and physically there are least institutions in the world are very much popular in the field of space and astronomy and the space missions, but in writing mission, style, presentation, photography, look, links, people, members, the founders of this site, and the writiers here are the best and the "baut" itself is a "NASA (N=newest, A= astronomy, S= subject, A= adding) in writing topic on space and astronomy.

My friend is only a good commentator on different things.
