There's an inspirational poster waiting to be made with a picture of him driving off with his half.

A new hero is added to my pantheon.

Life imitates sitcoms sometimes.

At least the man know what is his and what is hers.

In order that there be no arguement about who got which piece of cake in our house one would divide and the other would choose.

And how does that work when you're three people?

The first slices. The second either takes the smaller piece or makes a second slice. The third chooses (or makes the second slice). Then the choices go around until everyone has a piece.

I got custody of my son, but paid for it with the house, all the other property, and, among many things, a cash settlement in five figures.

Wasn't there an NFL player who did the same thing (house-wise) a few years back?

Technically, wouldn't it be unfair if one person got say, the kitchen and the other was left kitchenless? Same goes for bathrooms. So wouldn't the house have to be sawn in two on a room-by-room basis?

You're over-thinking this, Fazor. :) To be fair, the house is sold and both get half the money.

What this guy did was just ridiculous. It makes for kind of a funny story, but it was pretty stupid and petty, altogether.

Did he take away the top half or the bottom half?

It's more a symbolic gesture than a practical one.
