Wasn't sure where to put this, so I figured 'Off-Topic' was a good start.
Anyway, my university has put up six lectures in MP3 format on topics ranging from climate change to astrobiology. They were given to a highschool-aged audience, so I don't know how in-depth/good they are, but if you're interested, you can find them by following the links at the following address: http://umanitoba.ca/research/set/
I'm in the process of downloading them myself, but as I'm on dialup, I'll be waiting a bit.
Here's the outline taken from the site:
The mp3 files feature talks by:
- Arctic expert David Barber, who spoke about climate change science;
- Cyrus Shafai, who outlined the future of nanotechnology;
- Brian Mark, who described the future of structural biology;
- Peter Jones, who talked about expected developments in the field of designer foods;
- Anita Brűlé-Babel, who outlined possible developments in alternative fuels;
- and Kathleen Londry, who described the futuristic field of astrobiology.
