Mild language warning. Still worth a big grin.

Ok; other than that comic being ON the ides of March, what does it have to do WITH the ides of March?

Anyway; I've always believed the statement "beware of the idiots of March"

Well, what I found amusing was the cameo appearance. There are a lot of his fans floating around here who might share the sentiment of the last panel.

And here I thought the thread was about a band I liked during my teen years.

Not a thing, NEOWatcher, not a thing. Lar DeSouza, the comic's artist, has the privilege of labeling the comics.

Just a further warning, the strip and site are officially rated PG-13. You're okay on that page, today certainly. After that, or if you go further into the site, or browse far enough back into the archives, you're likely to encounter some BAUT-inappropriate material.

Doodler, I didn't know you were a LICDer? Cool. Do you post to their forums?

Actually, I'm not. A friend of mine on another forum is. I hop into these things every so often, but there are very few I actually follow regularly.

Huh, too bad. It's a good comic. It's pretty much first on my list of my "first thing in the morning" stops before going in to work.

There is one floating here! I really miss Calvin and Hobbes.

Robert Krulwich had a piece on NPR about the Ides of March.

What if 2050 years ago — or 2051, depending on how you count — on March the 15th, the Ides of March, the senators who killed Julius Caesar decided to throw a little party... just to celebrate the elimination of a potential dictator?

Why do we have to beware the Ides of March and not any other month? Other than a quote in Shakespear?

We don't, Caesar did.

nitpick: Ceaser was dictator for life, not a potential dictator

according to my source, it was originally a warning from Ceasers personal Astrologer
