On Saturday, I attended the 2007 Northeast Astronomy Forum and Telescope Show (http://www.rocklandastronomy.com/neaf.htm), which is commonly referred to as NEAF, as I have every year since 1995. As usual, there was an incredible array of telescopes, eyepieces, mounts, electronics, and other astronomy gear and accessories. Time passes at an accelerated rate at NEAF and with attending three of the lectures, which were all excellent, and arriving later than I ever have before I didn't have much time to inspect all the vendor booths. I also didn't take as many photos as I would have liked. However, here are some of the shots that I did take that I've managed to process so far.
1) Uncle Al Nagler (http://www.televue.com/engine/page.asp?ID=138) and his new 13mm Ethos hyper-widefield eyepiece, which boasts an impressive 100 degree aparent field of view
2) Sky & Telescope Senior Editor Alan MacRobert (http://skytonight.com/about/generalinfo/3305181.html?page=1&c=y) at the end of his awe-inspiring lecture on the Cassini Mission
3) Jeff Kanipe, Halton Arp, and Dennis Webb are featured in an image from Kanipe and Webb's talk on their new book on the Arp Atlas of Peculiar Galaxies (http://willbell.com/HANDBOOK/arp.htm)
4) Brother Guy Consolmagno (http://clavius.as.arizona.edu/vo/R1024/GConsolmagno.html) and yours truly as he signs a copy of his famous book Turn Left at Orion
5) A design schematic of the Vatican Observatory's 1.8 meter VATT Gregorian telescope (http://clavius.as.arizona.edu/vo/R1024/VATT.html) (which served as the basis of a world-class pun) at Mt. Graham during Dr. Guy Consolmagno's talk
