Hi all,
I've been looking over the net to see if I can find some good photometry software. Professional astronomers seems to use packages like DAOPHOT,DoPhot and the like. The AAVSO has a package called MIRA but I can't seem to find it.
I'm interested. What software do you guys use for your variable star measurements? Is it easy to use? What do you like and what do you not like? and why?
I have a pet project. I'm writing software that will enable batch reduction of many (10000's) photometric frames. Flatfielding, bias subtraction, aperture and psf magnitudes etc. I'd like to have an idea what features people would like.
Any comments will be appreciated
