I keep seeing these kinds of things a lot, and thought we should have a repository for them.
The same old common problems, but they are renamed because it involves something new.
If it's not tennis elbow, it may be 'Wiiitis' (http://www.cnn.com/2007/TECH/fun.games/06/06/wii.elbow.reut/index.html)
Wiiitis is a sore shoulder from playing too much Wii tennis
So Wii Tennis is nothing like real tennis? :wall:

I was under the impression that the repeated impact of the racket to ball played a significant factor in tennis elbow. No impacts in Wii tennis, unless you count free-flying remotes.

Well, technically no it's not. :) But it's the same type of injury.

Ok; then we'll call it a repetative motion disorder...
Anyway, according to this:
http://orthoinfo.aaos.org/fact/thr_report.cfm?Thread_ID=132
It looks like tennis elbow is repetative motion.
Many individuals with tennis elbow are involved in work or recreational activities that require repetitive and vigorous use of the forearm muscles (see Table 1). Some patients develop tennis elbow without any specific recognizable activity leading to symptoms.

BTW, the correct spelling is 'repetitive'.:whistle::whistle:

Ah! An excuse to share a site I found some time back. Wii Have A Problem (http://www.wiihaveaproblem.com/) is a blog dedicated to the damage, human and material, inflicted by WiiMotes Gone Wild.
Seeing some of those expensive LCD TV sets in pieces makes me want to cry...

You know, the funny thing is that if I swing my badminton racket for a while without a shuttle being involved, I'm prone to pulling my forearm muscles. If the shuttle is involved, I can play for hours without any strain at all.
But, I suppose the difference is in the quality of the warm-up. If I'm just messing around with the feel of the racket, I'm not stretching right before doing it.

I'll cut you some slack since it has a few more letters than 'fazor'. :)

You rang?
Edit: oh, if you mean that my handle is Phaser spelled wrong, I assure you it has nothing to do with the iconic weapon from that television series that for whatever reason became so popular. Fazor is the random handle i came up with 13 years ago when I started using it on dial-up bulletin boards. :)

Yeah. I mispelled the word 'phaser' in another thread. Called it a 'fazer'. Then I corrected it to 'fazor', which was still wrong.
Is the whole world reading this? :)

I must be on the wrong page with everyone... I start a thread for one reason and it turns to a pun thread.
I start pun threads (1 (http://www.bautforum.com/showthread.php?t=56372),2 (http://www.bautforum.com/showthread.php?t=41417)), and they die off.
Oh well. That's the wii the ball bounces.

It's like Godwin's Law. You can't intentionally Godwin a thread. It doesn't work. Pun threads are supposed to be spontaneous.
