Hi people, I have a quick question.
I was observing Jupiter several nights ago through a 10" f4.5 reflector.
The resolution was very good, the moons were sharp.
Checked out M13 and again very good resolution.
However, it did not do well on planatary detail. I found the 10" shorter focal lenght did an excellent job on light (perhaps too much).
I think the brightness had 'washed - out' the contrast on planetary detail.
What would be a good filter(s) to reduce the light and enhance detail on the brighter planets ?
Thanks
Ron W
