Didn't get a chance to take a look when you "beta" tested the new board, but I really like the format! This will be a much nicer place to come and look for interesting topics while keeping the riff-raff to their own sections.

Now now, I've committed no transgression aside being rude, so I'm cool. Aside from the rude part.
Besides I've posted about 50 times in a back and forth dialog with Phobos.
I just post whenever it is possible. That's what makes me such a great poster. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Hi Rubysue! Thanks for the kind words. I am still mulling over the board; there are many features I don't like, but it's so much better than the old one I'll keep it around a while. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif

Okay, so that may be a better poster than me to you, but keep in mind that must be because you have never seen me on a poster! /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif
It's actually prohibited to put my face on posters, because the turmoil and mass hysteria it would make would cause anarchy of biblical proportions. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Bad Astronomer:
I like this Board so much better than the old one. It is nice to be saved from the silliness of the trolls. It is much easier to navigate, and sticking to a topic becomes possible. Finding one's way through a thread is now a cinch.
Thank you for taking the trouble. I am certain that it is fully appreciated by all.

Hey Rubysue, nice to see you back here!
And speaking of astronomy, here is today's "APOD (http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/astropix.html)".

Chip, that her last post was in November of 2001--HUb' is just sewing together all these loose threads.

Hi,
Last post from Rubysue I saw here was a farewell to the now banned flamers and cackpots on the old board. HUb' is probably a fine fellow, but I usually don't comprehend HUb's posts very much. (Which might be my fault and not HUb's.) /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif

Ok - what is wrong. Is it just me, or is everyone finding it hard to understand Hub'. Speak in ENGLISH, not something you made up.

Easy on the Hub'. We're very protective of him.
You aren't the first newbie -best, get that post count up- to wonder about herr Hub'. I believe he is using an old text based browser, not one of these fancy pants graphical browser like Netscape or IE.

Oh...sorry Hub'. I didn't mean it.

Hey Bad Astronomer. Are you ever gonna do those... uh... Rank images(or whatever they are called)? I think the top one should be a picture of the Enterprise(D of course, for the Trekies out there) blasting its photon torpedos at a borg cube
(Joking yet again!) /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif
