Welcome back. Was beginning to think you go lost in the woods down that way. Not a bad place to be lost, mind you, solong as you have plenty of provisions...

Well, let's see. First the earth cooled. And then the dinosaurs came, but they got too big and fat, so they all died and they turned into oil. And then the Arabs came and they bought Mercedes Benzes. And Prince Charles started wearing all of Lady Di's clothes. I couldn't believe it.

The Sickies? Are those the ones that Rainbow Brite fought, or the evil counterparts of the Smurfs? I forget...

Oh, and welcome back.

The Sickies?...The Sickies were preceded by the Fickies, and followed by the Seveckies and Eighckies.

Welcome back Serenitude! As this thread shows, nothing much has changed.

Did you happen to see where Hoagland is now claiming he's discovered the original version of the Venus de Milo, complete with arms, on the second planet from the Sun?

Fortunately, Mercury had nothing to do with it.

Welcome back.

While you were gone the conspiracy people discovered we faked the moon landing, aliens are having weekly BBQ's at area 51, and the Earth was destroyed twice.

Mr. Serenitude! I wondered where you'd gotten off to. Hope your feeling better. Being sick sucks. The only memorable line in the old (grim) sit com "Good Times" was when the younger son gets mad and says, "We're poor! And there's only two things worse than being poor! Being sick or in jail!"

So being sick is worse than being poor. Glad your feeling better. Here look at this: Look at this picture, make it your desktop, and aspire to do great things.

(PWI alert, whoosh! this could get interesting!)

But at least we now probably have a better idea of what the Serene One actually looks like.
