I assume that to qualify for this record you have to have posted at least once. Else we have about a 500-way tie for this mark.

I would nominate any of Oriel36's threads. He felt that the equation of time was the most important thing in the world, that Einstein (whom he would not name but always referred to in disparaging terms as "the inventor of spacetime") was a fraud, and constantly quoted the same three or four excerpts of Newton's Principia. Now there was a huge waste of bandwidth (but fun!)

Good advice, frogesque. Once, long ago, in response to the large number of threads about age and gender and so forth, I posted a thread (which I thought was tongue-in-cheek) about user height and weight. I meant it as a joke. I mean, I didn't really expect a serious response. But the thread went a few pages with lots of responses. I wished I could take it back, but in the end I wound up posting my own info so I wouldn't look like a spoilsport. But I think it was an ill-advised thread--too much information about us.
