I'm trying to find some information on a cloud formation I took of picture of while I was on a plane a couple weeks ago (see pics in this thread (http://www.bautforum.com/general-science/67722-how-did-cloud-form.html)) but haven't any luck here. Does anybody know of a good meteorology message board? I have also submitted the picture to the Earth Science Picture of the Day site, but that was only yesterday so no response yet.

Thanks for whatever help you guys can provide :)

For a more general and "current events" type discussion, with the occassional bewildering foray into in-depth, obscurant meteorological phenomena, you might give the wunderblog (http://www.wunderground.com/blog/JeffMasters/show.html)a look.
