"Entertaining in what way?" one might ask...
Music video with some good pictures around Mauna Kea and "residents", using one of my favorite songs with the verses replaced. Although there's something about the tempo or inflection that doesn't quite jive with me.

I discovered the link on another astronomy forum. You're the only person who responded negatively about the video. Different strokes...

No...I liked the video...It's just one aspect of it that would make it better (for me, of course). And that's probably only due to the "sounds different" phenomenom.

That film may have been more illuminating than any formal documentary about the challenges of doing research on Mauna Kea!

I agree!!!

I almost posted that a while back but didn't know if it fit this catagory. As someone who has worked in an, observatory, both public and research, for much of his life it is perfectly on target. Most of it applies to any astronomy grad student at any observatory. Only one dig at the PI?

Even as a retired guy doing some AGN photometric work now from my private observatory, it hits home. I spent my first clear night in 3 months with autosave turned off. Something I didn't find until I was shutting down come dawn. Now to add that one to the song!
