Wow! freddo got it! How did you know it? ("Yay" was the right answer).
Wait - this is too much fun. We both know it, but I don't think the other posters do. Let's see how long we can keep this up. :P

Wow now you're pushing the friendship BigJim - or more likely my memory...
It's been the better part of 7-8 years since I "played," and it belonged to my mate no less...
I just remember using the Gabby Jay one whenever something sucked...
Mum: "Hey freddo, you're doing the dishes tonight!"
Me: "Gabby Jay... Yay."
I'm better at just remembering the other names...
"Piston Honda"
"Super Macho Man"
etc.
BigJim

"Piston Honda"
Piston Hurricane.
Come on! You've got to remember. Those guys were so funny. Obviously you remember Gabby Jay. And Bob Charlie - "Ooh, ooh." Like an owl. Remember? He "shucks and jives." Super Machoman did the poses and was the Champ of the World Circuit.
Well, I did play it recently.
But still no one knows what we are talking about. Heh heh......
When you first play Gabby Jay, he says, "Let me win. It's been so long that I've forgotten how winning feels." Age -56 Born -France Record: 1-99.
I love that guy. 8)

And the points are meaningless, just like facts to BS and Nancy. :)

Your site says:
•Gabby Jay! "Yay!"
•Bob Charlie! "Woo! Woo!"
Good sleuthing, ToSeek. But you still haven't identified what it's from....

I don't have the manual anymore. But I can name everyone in the game, and for most of them their record, place of birth, etc.

You should be able to find one on the net - a bit of searching mind you... Never mind I'll spoil this one:
Gabby Jay trained at the Glass Joe academy.
His one and only win was when he K.O.ed Glass Joe to graduate! It inspired him to go pro. Bad move!

Do you still remember your records on them? My fastest Gabby Jay was 13.67 seconds. There was a trick with Piston Hurricane that allowed you to beat him in under 9 seconds.

Nah - As I said it belonged to my mate so I never played it much... When I get the net at home again I may download the emulator and ROM.
The Miseducation of Little Mac. (http://pasareppu.fateback.com/fanstuff/fanfics/littlemac.html)
I never liked the little bugger.

Emulator and ROM? You mean that you can play that wondrous game on a PC? Wow.
