I think this become a crusial issue worldwide. today I am looking that there are multiple seminars are being hold by the multinational companies, the post globalisation the percentage of HRD(human resource development)seminars, the self empowerment seminars are being arrange. I am also looking the dress code is fastly changing in this fast world. today we are wathing even on the television serials, and everywhere we are looking that this fashion is greatly developing. People are today becoming more aware in respect of their 'costume' awareness. Mahatma Gandhi was a personality who thought that to fight the 'warm climate' the less clothes are proper for men, who are engage in work, and their thought was much related with to tone with the nature and to keep our health more safe. Hence they were giving the stress upon the clothes made of cotton. today we are looking in this world 'tight jeans pants, trousers, silk, satin ' etc. these sort of clothes are not good for the skin. But who hears, who cares. None.
For a great personality it is necessary to wear simple clothes, big thinking power, big ambititions(though they are beyond our reach, but atleast to keep) think positive, be optimistic, be loyal, be courteous, I think these all can give a fine tilt to our personality traits.
In a different coferences of space and astronomy people always wear coat/tie/laundry pressed suit, tie pin, polished boot, and a nice hair cut, clean bared, has given a corporate outlook of the personality, but many of them if we test their inner contious, some of these personalities are failed to become a 'real personality.
so do you think that personality development means only to be cautious about dress wearing and sweet speaking and lavishly moving the neck.

What you are referring to is the Façade. A personality is something developed by the individual over time. Partly it is genetic. partly it is developed through social interactions, events in life and how they were raised. Environment.
The business type Façade you refer to is an impression. Not much more than that.
We all have Façades at times, each serving a different purpose. In the case you describe- the purpose is to make a positive impression on those whom you want to rely on you, trust you and empower you.

Ghandi wanted the Indians to wear homespun & homewoven cotton fabrics as a practical political/economic gesture against the import into India of Manchester woven cotton cloth and clothes made of that cotton. His point being that, like Colonial govts everywhere, the British rulers of India used the country as a source of cheap raw materials for their manufacturing mills in England, whose products were then sold, at great profit, to the producers of the raw material back in India. No attempt was made to encourage development of industry in the Colonies. Concern by Ghandi with health, or appearances, if any, was purely secondary.

personality development is the major issue for success of the life.To become a successful person in your life, you need to activate your personal power of influencing. Because the personal power of influence is the only way to get success in life. When you will become the master in this you will get success in professional as well as in personal life too. You can influence people with the help of strong leadership and effective communication. I have seen many people who have changed their life and become a successful person with the help of this only. For this I have found a great site <link removed by Moderator> . It provides 10-part email course every week. That is free of cost and it’s an open door coaching. With the help of it you can influence people through your communication and get success easily in your goals by your beliefs, thought, and behaviors to fully support those goals. I have used it and I think it’s really very useful for everyone. It is from the author of Blueprint for success Debora McLaughlin, Stephen R. Covey and Ken Blanchard. I believe the information will help you and you will get success in your life.
Good luck for future!

I'd be wary of promises from the Covey/Blanchard types of programs. I've seen lots of people come thru their programs & seminars. Most of what they pick up is short term and superficial. In fact, the only lasting change I see from most people is that they carry a planner (or these days a PDA).
I think being honest with your self (not you personally, but all people) is THE single most fundamental major issue in life. It is the foundation for personal integrity and living by principles. From there you move to honesty and integrity in relationships, and still farther above that comes things like success. Then there is the whole can of worms opened by how we define success.

Lol, I wear simple clothes because I am too lazy and procrastinate way too much to spend time in the mirror perfecting my image. At best, I leave myself 25 minutes to get ready to go anywhere...that includes shower.

The original post seems to talk about two different subjects, and I don't understand the connection between them that Suntrack2 seems to believe in. The closest thing I could find to an explanation in that post was this:For a great personality it is necessary to wear simple clothes, big thinking power, big ambititions(though they are beyond our reach, but atleast to keep) think positive, be optimistic, be loyal, be courteous, I think these all can give a fine tilt to our personality traits. But I don't understand how clothes would influence the wearer's personality. I am confuzzled.
(And just exactly what did Suntrack2 do with Suntrack1? :D )

But I don't understand how clothes would influence the wearer's personality. I am confuzzled.
It isn't about the clothes effecting the personality as much as the image portrayed as the persona.
