See the Flash video? "Easton bowhunting TV"? Labeled "Unusual footage caught on stealth cam"?

Don't know if it's worth a look. It's nine frames of interesting content, starting with half a figure on the edge, moving off screen. Could easily be a person in an ape suit.

But this caught my eye:

Episode 11 — Illnois Rutting Whitetails
The Illinois rut is whitetail hunting at its best. Join host Fred Eichler in his treestand while he waits for a chance at an Illinois trophy. The buck appears, but does Fred get the opportunity to take him?

I'm so excited...

At least it's relatively short (<1min), so it didn't waste too much of my time.

Yep... and they didn't catch him (her?) entering the frame, and the sun was directly into the camera. Sounds fishy to me.

Same old bigfoot caught on camera tricks. Why don't we ever see a bigfoot image that is clear, that shows them without camera distortion? Fleeting and blurry images, same as the ufo and lake monster images. I wonder why?:)

I'm guessing that like me you have java script disabled by default on new sites.
I also saw nothing, until I enabled javascript.

It's basically 9 frames of a guy moving off-camera while wearing a jacket with the hood up, taken from behind.
With <cue scary music>commentary to make you think there's something special there</stop scary music>.

Not trying to SPAM, guys. Just thought it was a neat little bit of weirdness to share with you guys.
And FYI, I'm not entirely sold on the existence of Bigfoot. It's hard to believe a 500-lb primate is lurking on the fringes of our society, yet remains unseen -- except for fuzzy film and questionable eyewitness accts.

Agreed. It's like the enhanced camouflage of 'The Predator', except his is organic. He has chromatophores that help him alter his appearance. Look! Is that Biggie, or a moss-covered mangrove? Is that Biggie? Looks more like a bear with mange, to me.

Yes, its an evolutionary adoption to fines from the FCC because of showing inappropriate bare skin (fur) on TV.

It's like if the site really wanted to do their best for the study of this fabled creature, for the sake of science, conservation, and perhaps a great hunting season and many tasty bigfoot steaks, they would make their highest-resolution video images available to all, along with the best still images they could muster, and all data concerning the event. Let it be studied.

However, so-doing might conflict with their more obvious primary purpose of drawing the greatest number of eyeballs to their site for the benefit of them and their sponsors.

I think they did their best with the material they had to work with, and I wish them much profit.

You've been rickrolled twice? How many times does it take?

Encylopedia Dramatica: Rickroll (http://www.encyclopediadramatica.com/Rickroll) (Warning: some adult language)

I can excerpt:

To Rickroll is to intentionally misdirect one to a video of "Never Gonna Give You Up" from one-hit-wonder 80's pop icon Rick Astley. This tactic gets its name in part from the duckroll [...]

You don't wanna be duckrolled (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4T5yMoKOiNo) either. Or, rolled at all in any way.

I was thinking this scene from Futurama (http://www.tv.com/futurama/spanish-fry/episode/165489/summary.html).

Narrator: "Bigfoot populations require vast amounts of land to remain elusive in. They typically dwell just behind rocks but are also sometimes playful bounding into thick fogs and out of focus areas

Narrator:"In the dense forests of the Pacific Northwest dwells the strange and beautiful creature known as Bigfoot perhaps"

Fry:"That proves it!" (edit)

LA Times blogs :: Web Scout: Rick Astley, king of the 'Rickroll,' talks about his song's second coming (http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/webscout/2008/03/rick-astley-kin.html)

“It’s a bit spooky, innit?” said Rick Astley, the singer who made the song famous in 1987 and who is not dead. [...] You are reading your favorite Hollywood gossip blog and arrive at a link urging you to “Click here for exclusive video of Britney’s latest freakout!! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eBGIQ7ZuuiU)” Click you do, but instead of Britney, it’s a dashing 21-year-old Briton that pops onto the screen. You, sir, have been Rickroll’d.

Over the last year or so, Astley has watched with puzzled amazement as “Never Gonna Give You Up” has been mocked, celebrated, remixed and reprised, its original music video viewed millions of times on YouTube, all by a generation that could barely swallow its Gerber carrots when the song first topped the pop charts.

i think Family Guy is responsible for bringing Rick Astley back into the pop culture mind..
Brian (the dog, for those that don't watch it) sang that song in an episode, introducing it by saying "here's a song by a gay guy" during a scene where Peter went back in time to try to win Lois's heart all over again...
after Brian started singing it, some random guy was seen on a pay phone talking to his "cousin" Rick and saying "you know that bland and generic sound you've been looking for? well, listen to this"- with the implication being that his cousin "Rick" was Rick Astley, and that Brian was the motivation for him to sing that song. i think Seth and crew stole that idea straight from Back to the Future...

CBS 2, Chicago: NYC [Macy's] Thanksgiving Parade Rickrolls Nation (http://cbs2chicago.com/watercooler/thanksgiving.rick.astley.2.875586.html)

During the New York Thanksgiving Holiday parade on Thursday morning, the
Rick Roll meme struck the nation as never before.

As the "Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends" float made its way down
Manhattan's Broadway, the television show's cartoon characters sang the
song "Best Friend." Midway through their performance, the tune switched
to the infamous song and lyrics of the Rick Roll tune, and Astley
himself emerged from the float to lipsynch along with his song.

All right - let's analyze this a bit.

http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d185/mugaliens/Bigfoot.jpg

Here we see an upright creature with hands extending downwards to mid-thigh. From the video on the website, the few frames are indeed brief, but clearly indicate normal upright movement, rather than the ambling walk we see in apes.

But is it man, humanoid, or (gulp!) BIGFOOT???

Let's take another look at the entire frame:

http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d185/mugaliens/Bigfoot2.jpg

It's clear from the lens flare that the entire scene is backlit. Thus, the humanoid appears dark. So why isn't the grass black, too? The shady side of grass strands as illuminated by the reflected light from the sunward sides. Since the frequencies are the same, they're very well lit, and appear in normal tones. The material worn by the humanoid (fur, felt, jeans, nylon, whatever) is clearly absorbing of those frequencies, rendering it dark against the background.

It's also clear from the lack of vegetation and the fact that the grass is yellowish-brown that it's not Spring or Summer. Thus, it's probably cool, if not cold. Since this is a hunting website, and hunting season is typically in the colder months, requiring jackets, hats, and often gloves, it's safe to assume the humanoid is simply a warmly-dressed man walking along a path in front of the remotely-triggered camera.

Some may argue, "but he's not wearing hunters' orange!" to which I would reply, "so?" Not exactly the smartest thing to do while walking through active hunting areas during hunting season, but it's hardly uncommon. In fact, it is common, though more for mere passers-by than for hunters.

In conclusion, there's absolutely no conclusive evidence here that this is anything other than a warmly-dressed, backlit person walking out of frame.

The Rickroll (YouTube video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JAPLip-FMyE))? Must be, for that is, of course, the one true subject matter of this topic.

No. It was recorded on the USA Thanksgiving holiday, Thursday, 2008, November 27.

(Why do people keep putting up silent images of Rick Astley disguised as a large-footed ape, or shadowy impersonation thereof, in this topic? I don't get those. If he doesn't sing, it's not a 'Roll. Wait. Maybe it's a meta-roll! Oh! Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down, never gonna run around and desert you.)
