It kind of depends on her tastes. If she doesn't like iPhones, for example...

You might consider her interests and find something that compliments her interests.

One thing I take into consideration when thinking about buying someone a gift, is to think back to all the times that I saw that person Really Smile.
I mean the big happy kind like they were overjoyed.

I remember when I gave my grandmother my first straight A report card in High school after a successive history of failing classes or getting D's. She literally screamed and hit the ceiling she bounced so high.

Recognizing the things we truly value can make a gift seem that much more special.
Even when the gift seems simple or isn't a fancy go-mobile- but rather, reminds us of the great moments and things in life that we live for.

I think you can gift a dinner on mothers day for your mom, or gift vouchers, household items, home furnishings, apparels, but according to me best gift is a dinner, going whole family together, this will make your mom very happy. For more gift ideas please refer below link, i once purchased from this site a gift voucher, it is a nice one.

We usually go to the local plant nursery and pink something up there.

Yes, I went there to pink something too. The lady at the counter said, 'Yellow? Neverfly is statue?"

Speaking of sleep deprivationt, I am having my schedule changed to start an hour earlier at work.

That's something I really do not miss about call centers. Crazy scheduling. Rotating schedules.. It's like they want robots instead of people. Answer phone: Give pre-recorded message. Do not think. Escalate all calls that you can handle to tier two. If you can't handle the call, put it back into the queue.

I don't think the OP will be coming back for our gift suggestions anyway.

I always take the lazy way out and call the flowershop in her home town and have them deliver something nice and mildly-expensive. She has never yet failed to express significant happiness over it! Maybe it's because I have a better idea of what mom's like than Dad does--one year he got her a chainsaw, truly thinking she'd love it!

Graham's mom likes gift cards to bookstores. I like getting a movie for my collection or something off my Amazon list--or a book I've never heard of. Some friends (my daughter doesn't get me things for Mothers' Day, I assume because she doesn't think about me in that context) got me this lovely hand-made dragon mug a few years ago.

I told Graham--I don't care that he doesn't get me things for Valentine's Day. I can cope with him not getting me anything for our anniversary. But I have Mothers' Day issues and would like something for it every year.

The OP was a textbook example of sock-puppetry, as he asked a question he himself (as another user) answered with an advertisement link in a later post.
