Mac Compatible Webcam

I need a webcam (either a suitable one I can mod or a dedicated CCD cam) that is compatible for Mac OS X but I'm finding it hard to find relevent information... could anybody here suggest anything thats currently in production and found for less that £100? I want to get my planetary imaging thang on y'see?
