Interesting.

Maybe because he's the one of the fast poster here whenever he's online. He'll plague almost all the threads in no time.

Maybe he's just on vacation, or have a New Work that made him busy .

Funny, we were just talking about him and I even thought about making a thread called "missing Members" too!

I knw why...
Quantum Entabglement.

I didn't make the thread because it seemed more like a "Where the heck did NCN go?"

But let's make sure that Serenitude is on the list too.

What happened to the 'Tude?

At least I know Dragonstar and TRS are alive- and they have the habit of kinda coming and going whenever...

No, I know. Not all my posts are meaningful--and I post less than I used to. And, in general, people who shoot up to 100 posts in their first couple of days here have perhaps two or three posts of substance. If that.

It's part and parcel of being in a relatively tight-knit community like Baut, Geonuc. Sooner or later, people go missing, and sooner or later, it was bound to happen that we'd end up losing someone for real, and not just to drift.

It hurt when it happened, but I think overall, we're better for facing that risk. Our community is worth that.

Personally, I think he's just a grand showman. He kicks in the front door, wow's us with his stories, jabs us with his sharp opinions, and slaps us in the face with heavy reality. Then he retreats to the shadows to let it all sink in-re-emerging only after the dust settles.

I spotted a Jim post the other day, if I remember correctly. I've been wondering about Roy Batty, myself. I hope that Deckard guy didn't find him....

Was it Jim or TheJim?

Jim. No offense to TheJim, but I think of Jim as rather definitive. In any case, I remember seeing the soccer ref avatar, but I don't recall the thread.

Ok, well, good to know he's alive.

Next on the list...

Last post was here (http://www.bautforum.com/small-media-large/93360-just-when-you-think-follywood-cant-sink-any-lower-3.html#post1580208), but Jim was around earlier today.

and Foote too.

Tadaaa!

Not surprising that i was mentioned right after Bogie, his ATM threads were the first ones i gave some input to. Astrophotography was the reason i first joined.

I'm still here and i visit often, though i see i was mentioned in september 08, hah. In between having no internet for certain periods and also getting my *** into gear to become a biochemist, i only visited a couple of times last year.

It's a shame to hear that Bogie is MIA, i think i have his email address wayyy back in my inbox. I'll have to see how he's doing.

Anyways, at least someone noticed i was gone :D thanks.
Hope every1 will be watching the Leonids Meteor Shower on the 17th!

Dr. Plait. I have yet to see him on here. His last activity was before I even joined.

I think he should be the one answering questions in the Q&A section. I mean, Grant and Jeff can't handle it forever!

A britch in time saves hine(y). Actually, BA mentioned us during his recent Gnomedex talk.

He hasn't abandoned us, but he is holding down the equivalent of three full-time jobs. Something's gotta give somewhere.

I'm back. Won't post constantly, just in and out, now. Mostly on another forum, now.

I hope he doesn't burn his britches behind him. I knew someone who did that.
The girl with the golden hind.

Hopefully, it's not his spleen...
