Apparently it's this one:

They say it's a 4. Too small/too far away for me to notice. Just as long as there isn't a follow-up . . .
Edit: Just noticed this was my 10K post. Heh.

Nothing to report from the Sierra Nevada foothills, either.

Congratulations!
I tried cnn.com and msnbc.com, but they haven't updated yet. As long as this is the main event and not a precursor everything should be all right. Remember, hope for the best but prepare for the worst!

Congratulations!
Thanks! Well, so far, this appears to be it for this quake event. Here's a California/Nevada recent quake map:
http://quake.usgs.gov/recenteqs/latest.htm
Red means an earthquake within the hour, blue means an earthquake within the day, yellow within a week. A bigger square means a bigger quake.
Edit: There was just a microquake at about the same location as wrote this.

I barely felt it. I live in the southwest part of San Francisco, near SFSU. It was weak enough that I questioned whether or not it was an earthquake. But I was watching the Giants/Pirates game on TV, when it happened. I noticed that the camera was shaking. It was the outfield camera, zoomed in to show the pitcher and batter. Because of its powerful zoom, it greatly magnifies any shake, and needs a very secure mount. To me, that's what confirmed it.

Are you okay? TS Hanna's over here in NY and the rain has just started.
