The jolly old Elf has already dashed away in his magic sleigh, making the rounds first to the South Pacific, then NZ and Australia:

Santa is too easy. Try tracking the Easter Bunny.

Tonight, at precisely midnight, while my tape deck played Handel music, a little old man in a red with white trim suit, riding a sleigh packed with goodies and pulled by reindeer who flew, started to land on my roof.
I hollered for him to be careful of my shingles, with his reindeers' hooves. He did a quick touch and go and flew away.
Carswell JRB tracked him from my place to where ever he went.
Merry Christmas, all.

I took a potshot at something big, long, dark, and fast around three in the morning, before I remembered what day this was...
I don't know if he was laughing because of me, or at me.
Ho-ho...
ummm...
Good thing I was using buck shot. If I was using doe shot, it would have been a sad, sad day (http://urbanlegends.about.com/library/bl_santas_reindeer.htm).

He ate all the cookies I left under the tree for him. :D Jolly old elf, ho ho ho!
I got just the fleetest glimpse of the reindeer and sleigh too; Rudolph's nose was shining bright and Comet was impatiently tossing his head to GO again! :)
