What's up with computers this week? Everything seems to be on the fritz this week. First Photoshop (on three separate installs no less), then the server at home, the network I administrate at work and the backup server.
I'd blame cosmic rays or Friday 13th, but I suspect the universe is just out to get me...
Are you feeling the universe is particularly malignant this week as well, or is it just me?

I received a PM from the Chief Operating Officer for the Universe and she tells me that it is, in fact, just you they are after.
Sorry.

i normally blame the solar activity, whatever the intensity level...
On the other hand...you could be right, jokergirl.
In my flights of fancy...i think it could be inter-galactic communications causing interruptions...

Just today for me, Jokergirl - because it's Friday the 13th! :p [And I've gotten whammied twice more with this computer since my Friday the 13th thread].

Emission of high energy bogon radiation from some nearby source causing degradation of your cluon-workion fields and/or sinking of the secondary workion charges you induce in the systems under your control.

Ah, yes, the important field of quantum bogodynamics (http://www.catb.org/jargon/html/Q/quantum-bogodynamics.html).

Something like that, yes.
Anyway, I can't say the universe have been especially malignant the last week, as far as I can tell at least. It may be something local to you or your area, it happens to all of us at times. I hope it works out for you.
