This has been bothering me for a few days now as I walk to school in the cold and moonlit mornings. It seems to me that the Moon does not set at this time of year in Alaska. This may sound strange but every time I see it the Moon is almost always at the same inclination from the horizon no matter where it is in the sky. It is also visible during the day. Is there a place on the Internet to find out what I should be seenig during the day? I already know about Starry night and I think I'll pickup a copy of it this weekend at the local CompUSSR. Thanks. -Colt

The Full Moon is opposite where the Sun is, so in winter it's where the Sun would be in the summer. So it will spend a lot of time - if not all the time (depending on just how far north you are) - in the sky.

Yes. Either that or PX has caused the moon to "bobble" up in it's orbit around the earth and we're all going to die. #-o
