Saw this one coming, but still sad nonetheless.

When I was a teen, several of her posters graced by bedroom walls.

When I was stationed in Germany (1978-80), I read one day in the Stars & Stripes newspaper that "Mork From Ork's poster is outselling Farahs." Having never seen the show "Mork & Mindy", I had no idea what they were talking about. Everyone knew Farah, though.

Lots of posters in my bedroom walls too. Beautiful woman, an icon of my youth. R.I.P.

I'd never heard of anal cancer before this. I know I read it may be caused by HPV. Wouldn't a colonoscopy find it?

Probably. But how often does the average person get one?
And, of course, I'd never heard of salivary cancer until Roger Ebert had it. I'm rapidly learning that you can get cancer of anything.

Absolutely, including being born about this time of year...

can just about remember Farah on Charlie's Angels, but I remember Cheryl Ladd's character more, thought she was a real honey pot.
RIP: FFM and of course MJ

My younger brother had a poster of Farrah, and I had a poster of Cheryl Ladd. I guess it's a question of taste.

I have fond memories of that poster as a teenager. The thing is I can't believe she was 62 -- sheesh time flies.

RIP. My memories, her one season on Charlie's Angels, her performance in "The Burning Bed", that appearance of hers on Letterman and her very public fight with cancer.
I never did have a copy of the red bathing suit poster, had a Charlie's Angels one, lol somewhere I have two Charlie's Angels novelizations, after checking a listing of episodes both from S1: the pilot episode and episode 07 "The Killing Kind".

I had no idea, 'bout what was going on around here.....here I was, yesterday afternoon, about five p.m.,
opened the newspaper....Michael Jackson .....
Ooookaaaay...... so I turns the page, and another...and there's Farah Fawcett.
Or isn't. Oh my gosh...what's happening? what's this crazy newspaper?
Oh, Farrah. Rest In Peace.
I have a warm spot for you in my heart. Always did. Particularly, after you got with Ryan. After they made Paper Moon, with Bagdonovich...I thought you'd make a great mother for impish, adorable Tatum.
Thanks for the ..Angels and delinquent crush.
