I'm watching the movie Rogue, which is filmed in the Northern Territory. I can't believe how beautiful the Australian Outback is. How many of the members have been to this location?

Filming took place across a range of Territory locations, including the wetlands of Red Lily and Yellow Water billabongs in Kakadu National Park, with the majority in Nitmiluk National Park at Katherine Gorge.

Visitors to these dramatic locations are likely to see their fair share of crocodiles – although at Nitmiluk they will mostly find the more benign, freshwater variety.

With a little commonsense, you are unlikely to experience the horror of the film.

Hi Tim ...That sounds and looks like a good film to add to the collection ...I will have to get it ...Its definitely beautiful country it was filmed in ... The croc reminds me of the croc the national guard killed during the flood of new Orleans ....Something like a 1200 pounder ....Google giant croc ..

In this 2007 movie, which is not bad, the croc is a saltwater crocodile, 7 meters in length and weighing two tons. Most of the movie, after they encounter the croc, is filmed in some other location. But the river boat scenes at the beginning are gorgeous.

From wiki:

An adult male saltwater crocodile's weight is 880 to 3,300 pounds (400–1,500 kg) and length is normally 4 to 5.1 metres (13–17 ft), though very old males can be 6 metres (20 ft) or more.

I've been to the brush country, but not the outback itself. Australia in general is a very beautiful land, though.
