I'm a beginner so I'm looking for answers and probably not able to provide any. I've played around with optics, but I just don't have much experience.
I have an ETX-125 with a problem that I hope someone can suggest a solution for (maybe ship back to the manufacturer), but thought others might like to bring up some problems and solutions they have run across. My problem is that the fine focusing control no longer seems to have any effect. I suspect that the knob and control mechanism have become detached. My question is should I plan to send it back to Meade or should local dealers be able to do something for me? Joe

Joe:
have you checked, the focus knob is attached with a tiny allen screw-maybe the screw has come loose? Meade supply an allen key along with the scope-so it must be apretty common occurance
