I have a telescope I haven't been able to work very well since I got it - it's a basic light bucket.
I was proud of myself for getting it put together, since the instructions were for an older model, but I can't get the little sighting scope to line up with the big scope, and I have a very hard time getting it focused. I've used it to see Saturn well one time, after an hour of working to find it in the scope and focus. Does anybody know of groups in the Chicago area, or places I could go, to learn how to work this thing? |

Well, there are several astronomy clubs in the Chicago area. You can find a list at
http://www.skypub.com/resources/directory/il.html I bet contacting one of them would be a good start. Rob |
