Default A.S.I.G.N. Observatory (Barry's home-made observatory)

HI all!

Barry's home-made observatory is now completed and FULLY OPERATIONAL!!!!! yay! It has been one complete year in the making. It certainly doesn't feel like it!

I have also had a professional re-design on the website, so now it looks better and is NOT located at the old barry's home-made observatory (iinet.net) link. It has been re-named A.S.I.G.N Observatory. See the new link below. Please take a look and enjoy.

I have big ideas for more astronomy related projects and development of the site so please stay tuned!

God bless,

Barry.

Default Your website and completed observatory

Hi Barry - I love your website, and the name you chose! Congrats! I am so envious of an observatory, but don't believe I have the stamina or guts to build one myself here in the "suburbs" of Los Angeles - I'm 25 miles northwest of L.A., in the San Fernando Valley, probably about as deep into the light pollution mess that you can get without actually being "in" Los Angeles.

Congratulations on getting your observatory up and running. A year is a long time, I guess, but the rewards you will get from having it available without having to set up and take down your 'scope every time you want to use it will outweigh all those sore muscles over time. Enjoy it every chance you get. If I lived close to you, I'd probably be begging to come over all the time and look through it. It looks really good!

God bless you too, and many times over!

Clear skies! (and lots of them as well!)

Paul

Beautiful Barry!!!!
And may you have hours of pleasure exploring God's creation and be aware of His presence every time you look through your scope.

Phil

Thank you Phil and Paul! Very kind words. I guess if people sweet talk me enough when they visit Australia, I may be persuaded to host a short tour.....

Baz.

Thanks for the blessings and the clear skies prayers...although daytime it can cloud and rain heaps....We desperately need it!
