Thumbs down Hi ! Friends I don't know what to do with these Lenses ? Please Help ?

Hi friends , anybody help me what to do with these lense , And can I make an good Telescope from using these Lenses.

The Lenses are :

14 an Half cm in diameter and 1 inch thick (Focal Lenght 16 cm convex lens )
11 an Half cm in diameter half inch thick (Focal Lenght 16 cm convex Lense)

I dont know the focal length of these two lenses .

Please guide me how can I make a simple Telescope using these lenses.

There is not a whole lot you can do with a single objective lens. It will not be color corrected, and anything you look at will have lots of color spikes and rings around it. The first thing you can do is to take them outside and focus a distant light to an image. You can use the sun if you don't mind burning stuff up. This will allow you to measure the focal length. Then you get yourself an eyepiece of some sort. I like old movie projectors for good quality magnifiers. Then you rig up a tube for each, some way to connect them, and some way to vary the distance so you can focus. The image will be up side down and the power will be Objective fl/ eyepiece fl.
