I've used several Questars over the years (ASH once owned a 3.5" Questar) so I'm quite familiar with them. Furthermore, the Questar factory in New Hope isn't all that far from where I live.

I've attached a photo of an ultra-expensive 7" Titanium Questar that a friend of mine owns.

My advice, however, still stands.

Well, a Schmidt-Cassegrain is generally better suited for that purpose than a very slow MCT. It should serve you well for lunar and planetary work, however.
