Default Major Falling star Idaho/Utah Border

Wow!

Bright flash 9:04 MST

It had the general shape of a comet - falling north to south, so we picked it up at a modest apparent velocity. Glowing red/orange behind a clearly defined white ball 1/5th the diameter of the moon. White trail ~ 20 deg above the eastern horizon.

Anyone else catch this one?

is it possible that I could have seen it from north east texas in my northwestern sky?

i know i saw something really fast and bright "falling" past the horizon. I even waited for the earth shattering kaboom!

not sure of the time but it was later in the evening which would coincide with what you saw?
